Control Loop

What is a Control Loop?

A control loop is a model that originated in cybernetics. It consists of a controller that has specific objectives and a control system that is controlled by suitable information.

The actual value created by the controlled system is fed back to the controller, which can then determine whether and which deviations exist by comparing actual and target values. As soon as this deviation analysis is available, corrective action can be taken - for example, by target revision. Such a control loop can be used to illustrate the effective sequence of inspection processes.
